(as originally sung by Bob Dylan, but in the style of Garth Brooks because that's my fav version)
When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I would offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
And the whole world is on your case
I would offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong
I'd go hungry, I'd go blind for you
I'd go crawling down the aisle for you
There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging on a rolling sea
Down the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
But you ain't seen nothing like me yet
There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
Make you happy, make your dreams come true
To make you feel my love
I suppose that would be a nice song to have someone dedicate to you, huh?
To love someone, truly love someone is when you can still see the smile through all the wrinkles they'll get.
And you don't care if they go bald or get pot bellies because that's part of getting old I suppose.
And I guess when you really love someone all you want to do is sacrifice for them and make them comfortable and make sure they are happy and get tucked in at night and get the last piece of cake.
And when you love someone you will probably go out and start their car for them on cold mornings.
And maybe even rub their feet sometimes.
