My favorite thing about the Guardians of the Galaxy movies are the soundtracks. Whoever the guy is that picks out the music for those is doing an A+ job.
In fact my only wish for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.0 was that it would have an equally awesome soundtrack as the first movie, and it did not disappoint.
So I started to think, if I were picked up by an alien ship and had to live the rest of my life in space, what would I want on my mix tape? And so, drum roll please....
Hannah's Awesome Mix
1. Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) by Looking Glass
Like Peter Quill, I too think this is one of the greatest songs ever composed on earth. It's one of those songs that no matter how often you listen to it (and I sometimes do on repeat...) it's always good. Cuz Brandy, you a fine girl.
2. Sister Golden Hair by America
Another one of those songs I've probably listened to 8000 times in my life, and it still sounds just as good as the first time I heard it.
3. Save it for Later by The English Beat
4. American Pie by Don McLean
5. Cover of the Rolling Stone by Dr. Hook
6. Magic by Pilot
Oh, oh, oh it's MAGIC. You know.
7. Peace Train by Cat Stevens
8. Sad Eyes by Robert John
9. Sweet City Woman by Stampeders
10. Crocodile Rock by Elton John
I was born in the wrong era.
