Day 1: Me in Pictures and Words

Ok fine. I'll do the dang challenge.

I have given into temptation.

Alright, first thing's first people. My name is Hannah. For those of you who have taken the color code personality test, I am a white, with a little bit of blue and yellow. Although over the years I believe I have acquired some red.

A certain best friend of mine tells me I put way too much stock into that test. But I think it's pretty accurate, so whatev.

I'm a very cheesy girl. Sometimes unbearably cheesy. Sometimes to-the-point-of-embarrassing-friends cheesy.

I blush like a bright red cherry lollipop when I'm around cute boys. It's a terrible and great thing. Long ago, at the end of one summer break when I was going to the school to retrieve my textbooks, I ran into a friend of mine who I had not seen over the summer. A boy. We began talking and asking about each other's crazy adventures when a strange sensation took over me.... I felt my face begin to grow very very hot, I could feel rivers of blood rushing to my cheeks. I was blushin' up a storm. "Oh great. This is so embarrassing," I thought to myself, "how the heck am I supposed to cover this one up? He's going to think I'm some freak or something!!!" Silence. This boy asks me why I am all red....

"I got a really bad sunburn last week! It's terrible isn't it?! Haha...ha..."

Oh my gosh Hannah. What is wrong with you. Now he's going to really think you're a weirdy. Sunburn?!?!? Seriously?! Is that the best story you could come up with? What on earth is going to happen when you STOP blushing and your face isn't red anymore?

"Oh...haha...you know sunburns... they come and go... "

Luckily for me this friend of mine is nice and didn't say anything about it after that. Bless him. Oh man. So ya, that's my story on blushing. I blush a lot. My blushing isn't even exclusive to just cute boys though. I'll blush for lots of things. It's bad.

I love horseback riding. My grandpa and me go riding up the canyon all through out the summer. AF canyon is seriously like my favorite place. I'd be up there every day if I could. I also realized that I really love fishing this summer. A dear friend of mine taught me how to set up the perfect rig and I was reelin' in fish like nobody's business! That is pretty much the best feeling in the whole world by the way. Just sittin there on some muddy cooler on the bank of a lake, feeling a little tug on your line and then reeling that bad boy in! I love catching fish.

It may surprise you but fishing isn't actually all about the fish though. It's about talking life with a good friend in a lawn chair, smelling like power bait, and being able to relax up in the fresh air, feeling peace. It's great stuff, fishing is. Try it sometime.

I also love flowers. My secret ambition is to be a florist. I plant a big roof garden every summer with all sorts of pansies and daisies and other assortments of flowers. Then I sit up there and read and watch the hummingbirds. When I get married and have a house and big yard of my own I will undoubtedly have a gigantic garden. I'm making the kids weed though. I hate weeding.

One time I kissed a boy on the cheek for an ice cream sandwich. Don't judge me.

That's quite enough about me.

THE END
